Water is used to represent the ever changing landscape of motherhood, the unpredictability of riding waves and the ease of succumbing to the current. There are moments of calm open spaces. There are moments of darkness, deep depths of feeling like no other, but always with the knowledge that you will resurface. There are moments when one thing flows into another and creates whole webs of intricacies. There are moments when you blissfully float along with clarity. All these things make up motherhood. It all balances out to give the wonder of life, the mind blowing little wonder right there in front of you.
